Geez. People can be so...interesting. Mark has a few stories like that, too.


Wow. Amazing. I'm also thinking of how easy (and convicting) it would be to take this story and run with it. How often do we have people run into a church (call a church, contact a church) frantically looking for help? "Do you have anything that will help me in this crisis?" "Sure," says the church person. "Come quick! Right outside!" cries the person in crisis. "But I think we're only allowed to use it INSIDE..." stammers the church person. "I can't possibly take it out THERE with you..." Ouch. How often do I have the (horrible) attitude that people have to be inside my comfort zone for me to help them--rather than me running out ready to help? How often do I insult God by acting like his stuff is only powerful and effective inside the walls of a church ministry? Ugh.
